A season to remember.
Mathershaw competed with Downton for the title throughout the year, winning both titles after a very strong end to the season. The team was sold to engine partners Porsche at season’s end, finishing the Mathershaw era on a high note.

The car was not as quick as the previous season, but the team found more success than predicted. A late-season surge of wins and podiums lifted the team to second in the constructors’ championship.
